Thanks everyone. It will be a long weekend for me. I won't hear from the vet unless there is a problem so, of course, I hope I don't hear from her.
We had severe thunderstorms move through during the night with 60mph winds and tons of thunder and lightening. I was up walking the floor thinking of how frightened Chip probably was alone at the vet's office. :(
I keep telling myself he will get to come home tomorrow. At least, I hope he does. Poor baby had his 4 month old birthday yesterday. What a way to spend it, eh?
Chuck went looking for him for a while. He would peek behind things and call for him. They have never been apart for more than a few hours until now. Angel finally started playing with him and distracted him.

Yes, I sure miss him. He is a momma's boy and loves to cuddle with me while I watch tv. Looks like we may have more thunderstorms tonight so I won't be sleeping much. :(Quote:

Been thinking about Chip today and hoping that he is improving every
day now.I was wondering if they would call you about him, but see you said
they would call only if an emergency came up. I do hope Chip is well enough

I hope the vets were able to get Baby Chip's fever down. Poor thing. My prays for him and for you and the rest of your fur babies as well.

I sure hope he doesn't have panleuk (distemper.) We had a bad outbreak a couple years ago among our cat rescue kittens. If he's 4 months old he's had at least two shots, right? A kitten isn't fully immunized until after his 3rd shot.
