In Val's first post, she mentions it has been 4 1/2 years since she got Dasher, and to think, she was told he was old and sickly then! Look how well he has blossomed in her care, and remember that for anyone who says an animal is "too old" to be successfully adopted!
Thanks so much for all the kind replies. Hugs and kisses given to my dear dog.
Secondly, you can see why I barely passed math. It just feels like four years. So, sorry for that mistake.
Karen, I agree it's never too late. Senior dogs have the least chance of finding homes. When I look back and see how much Dasher has changed, it brings a smile to my face every time. Such a different dog from the one I brought home. But he's changed me, as well. He's helped my heart not be empty. But of course there will always be a special spot for Duke.
Val, I still remember how much heartbreak you went through I am so happy you and Dasher found each other.
Precious, Precious, Darling, Darling, Sweet, Sweet Dasher. I love you.:love:

I always love seeing pictures of Dasher. He is such a wonderful boy, Val. Great to hear from you two. :)
Sweet old Dasher. Great picture of him and the Easter Bun-Bun. How about a picture of Doogie. I sure could use a couple. Please????:D
