Prayers needed for Maya Linn...

I'm sure that your vet has checked this, but how is her blood sugar? I had a Lhasa with diabetes, and when her blood sugar dropped, she would walk in circles. Maya Linn's case does sound more neurological tho.

When Moby went hypoglycemic, she'd stagger around like she was drunk. Could you have her sugar tested?

The vet said he's waiting for the blood test results to come back. Maybe there will be something there that will tell us more. I just want my baby back home with me.

I think the people who've mentioned blood sugar have a good point; I'm sure that's in the tests, though. Let us know! :love:

Sweetheart, Pittsburgh prayers are on their way for Maya lynn. Also prayers for you that you will be able to be strong and rested through this ordeal.

Just talked with the vet again. He said her blood surgar was 271 and attributes it to the stress of what was going on yesterday. He's going to test her sugar again. If it hasn't gone down, she may have be to be on insulin. We'll cross that road when we get to it. At least I have some answers.

I felt sad when Meowmie said you have to stay at the whitecoat's because you feel icky. Just remember that the whitecoat is your friend and wants to help you get better. So be sure to take your medicine and let him help you. I know how much you miss your Meowmie and fursibs, they miss you too. I'm sending you lots of get better soon purrs and headbumpies.
