Wow! Pretty impressive stuff for a four-year-old! If you can spare him for a day, I have a computer table that has sat unassembled in its box for over a year. Do you think he could lend a hand?:D
I became an engineer but must admit at 4 most of my construction skills were in taking things apart. I don't believe i started building things until around 6-7 when I received an Erector set for Christmas. Although the Lego block was developed in the late 40's the Blocks similar to what we have today didn't arrive until I was in my late teens, i don;t think your son will require any encouragement to become a designer/engineer, it seems it is natural for him. Impressive! I didn't start making any sense out of Lego instructions until at least 5 lol. Maybe he will grow up to build things...and actually get them right because he can read a blueprint! :D
