I agree with Slick
The first thought that came to mind was to ignore Snow and he will come around on HIS terms. I would do "hands off" until he is secure in his new environment.
Not that I know everything about cats................;) He sounds a bit set in his ways, to me.

Slick is 110% correct as thats how I did things when Hansome John Hancock , Pouncierge the Precious, Miquelito the Little Orange Lion, and Tubster Panther moved in.
Few Cats just settle right in, and they needtime to realize that they are in the right place!!!
As My Dear Mother often said while taming an Adopted Cat you have to be like a Rich Doctor.
Lots of patience!!!

Snowy is doing better in his home. Much calmer.
I still wish I could get inside his head, though. One thing that I told the adopter was that he was VERY good about getting his eyes wiped (and he WAS!!), but he won't let her do it.
Cats?!?!?
Any way, thaks for the prayers, they helped.

More prayers for Snow. No wonder he is going through a rather difficult adjustment time.. he was adopted with his dear friend and had to start to get used to that environment, then was brought back without his friend, and now he has yet another complete change in his world to adapt to.
We are also praying for the adopter, that she will understand the need to give this beautiful boy the time and space he needs to decide he's safe and stable here and can start to settle in and explore his new surroundings and family.
