All you can do is "shake & bake".
I'll take a "hurry-cane" any old day.

Hi all and I brought treats to eat and soon some new pics of all the grand and glorious old ladies (yes I am claiming LJ as an old lady as the heat has her whipped) and will take 1 hurricane....but there were several tornadoes in Minneapolis yesterday, no warning just the storms, waiting on pics of my old house as I am told lots of wind damage and tree branches, Good to be back around, and where is ORC??
Bartender, I'll have a hurrycane please. It's rainy and sticky here today.:p
Set 'em up again Barkeep, and how's about some Nawlins eats? Shrimp Remoulade sounds good! :D
Orc, set about deveining the shrimp, will ya?
Shrimp Remoulade
1-1/2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 cup Creole mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
3 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and cooked
1 head Iceberg lettuce (optional)
Clean and de-vein the shrimp. Boil in a large pot for 3 minutes, remove and place in a container in the refrigerator or over ice. In a medium-size mixing bowl, blend mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire, Tabasco, onions, celery, parsley, garlic and lemon juice. Chill sauce in the refrigerator or over ice for about 1 hour before serving. Serve shrimp and sauce as dip, or place shrimp on a plate of lettuce with sauce poured on top. Serves 6-9
I'll take a big plate of that shrimp when it's nice and chilled. And how about a super-sized lemonade with something added to get rid of a headache. Keep it legal - I'm too old to go to jail!
I'd almost welcome a hurry-cane right now to blow this hot weather out of here. It's 91 with a heat index of 103! How do people exist without a.c.???
OOPS! - I didn't say please.
OK - please???????????????
That sounds like a plan!!! Mmmmmm
I'll PM you in a bit about a drop dead head count, what you need for the menu, etc, etc. My head still hurts too much to think right now..............:(
Usual martini please.
I brought the Hurricane Squirrel.

What's with the squirrel? With the exception of about 6 months, I have lived my entire life in hurricane country, and have never seen a squirrel associated with these storms before? What did I miss???
