I decided to separate this into 2 parts - hopefully it will make it easier for you, as well as for me :) Also - I just checked and rechecked this entire thing. I had made a couple of scoring errors - and fixed them, I hope. And I had put a B in the wrong place - corrected that.
Remind me the next time I post the puzzle to make sure it only has 3 - 4 words :):):)

I have taken a stab at it and sent a guess to Grace. I hope it doesn't turn out the same as Karen's Jacques Yvert quote where I guessed the name correctly, but got an easy word in the puzzle wrong. :D
Killearn Kitties has it right :)
Ludwig isn‘t our first hospital cat,
and I‘m sure he won‘t be our last.
I could say that despite his advanced age,
diabetes and kidney failure, Ludwig shows no
sign of slowing down, but that would be
ludicrous.
Slowing down is the only sign he ever shows.
Perhaps that‘s the secret to his longevity:
take life slow. Really slow.
But don‘t forget to stop and
smell the catnip every once in a while.

Hurray! I will look something out tonight and hopefully start the new puzzle tomorrow.
