It was the first summer we lived here. Eddie knew he does not go out without an escort. The sliding screen door was securely latched with an eye and hook.

I was outside on the other side of the house chatting with a couple of PetTalk friends who were visiting...

...when Eddie sauntered up to us with a casual..."Hi guys!"

Thats the first thing that I thought of when I saw the screen door leading to the back yard so I had lattice put over the mesh.
So far not a sctach on the mesh.
When Michael was younger , I bet he would hvae tried.

I found my screen door in that condition once. But instead of an indoor cat getting out, it was a stray kitty (RB Katie) moving in. With her five kittens. I discovered the entire kit and kaboodle curled up contentedly in a chair.
