I'm so sorry to hear you have lost little Abigail. :( She had too short a life, but while she was with you, she knew love.
I hope very much that her sister AnnaBelle or any of your other kitties won't get it.
Rest in peace, Abigail.
(((hugs)))

AbiGail was such a Dear Little Cat and was far too young to leave you and Your Cats, but sometimes as the song says the Good Die Young.
Our Good Lord must have needed AbiGail for a very special job with the Animal Angel Army.
She has awoken with her wings of silver and gold , and there will be An AbiGail Banquet tonight at Berlins Finest Restaurant with AbiGail getting the first plate and then Kirstens Aysche and Katz will show AbiGail and Hher New Frieds the best Berlin has to offer.
We are praying hard foe Anna Belle , that she will be well.
AbiGail wants to thank you for those years of love and care, and she was a Lucky Cat to have found someone to love you.
And AbiGail wants you to know that she will find a great place for You, and Her Cat Friends to be reunited in love.
One Fine Day.

Rest in peace, dearest AbiGail. Your Meowmie loves you so very much.

I am so very, very sorry, that your beloved AbiGail is gone and that this awful disease was the cause. Prayers that Annabelle will recover and that none of your other kitties will come down with it.
I lit a candle for AbiGail: http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/...ng&cid=8374939
and one for Annabelle: http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/...ng&cid=8374976
Deepest sympathy to you.

Katie - I am sorry for all the pain you are in right now and that AbiGail had such a short life, though a very good one I know. FIP is a truly awful disease and there is nothing to be done. I lost three five-month-old kittens to it about a year ago and I haven't been able to bear the thought of fostering kittens again. I blamed the shelter for putting them in an adoption center where they had had two other kittens die of FIP earlier in the year, and I blamed them for not seeing that my kittens were not bouncing back from the fairly routine URI they got at the center. I just had to throw the blame at someone because the pain was awful. I had handed them three older kittens who were bounding with vitality and life, and they had exposed them to the URI infection that mutated into FIP. Of course, it wasn't really their fault. Some cats are simply genetically more likely to get it than others.
Please let us know that Annabelle has bounced back into good health.

Kate, I am very sorry to read of Abigail's passing.
You THINK she had a better life with you than on the street? Oh goodness, that make me smile, Abi knew love and warmth, had some good purrs and great runs through the house. She knew petting from Kate, which is very special petting for sure -- because you are a PT person.
Romp at the RB dear Abigail!
And some gentle pets for her sister, who is missing Abi and may not be feeling so well herself.

Thank you all so much. FIP is just the worst possible disease. I kept her alive as long as I could, I hope that she knows that I tried. I literally cooked 3-4 meals a day for her, just so that she would eat.
AnnaBelle is doing worse lately, and I have a terrible feeling she will be gone soon too. :(
I just pray no more get it, I cant keep loosing one after another- BUT I have hope that none of the others will... My vet says it VERY rarely can be spead. Heres praying!
Thank you all so much again for the thoughts, prayers, candles and support. It means alot to me *HUGS* Katie and kitties and pups too
