Welcome Ben!

BTW - how's Dad doing?
Dad is recovering slowly, making progress. Thanks for asking!
I can't believe how many people do NOT believe me that he is a foster, lol. You all know me TOO well!
LOL, So basically you're saying you ADOPTED a new pupper :) Just kidding(I think?) Welcome to Pettalk, Ben! You're adorable, you'll love your foster mommy. Who would abandon that sweet face!
LOL, you know no one on Pettalk is truely a foster parent, right? ;)
A foster... Uh huh... Mm hmm... I'm thinking Ozzy Dozzy had a paw in this arrangement.
Ben, you are just adorable - welcome to your new-for-now home! I hope your spine problem does NOT turn out to be something worrisome.
And the last time I could tell the Freedom fluffs apart easily was when they were each wearing different Halloween costumes!
Thanks Alicia and Elyse. Why oh why does nobody believe he is a foster?? :D
Ozzy had a paw in this? Oooh what a lovely thought!
Welcome Ben! I was shocked to see he was another Bichon.:p He's adorable!:)
What a cute face he has. He looks like a happy dog. I hope his spine isn't really bad. Good for you for helping him.
As far as I can tell, there's always room for one more permanent Bichon! :p If I was a betting woman.............
Oh,
he's so pretty.
What a fluffy
little face.
:)
Well, apparently the bichon experts at SPR HAVE heard of "spondylosis," and they are quite unhappy. They tell me this is a degenerative disc disorder which worsens with age. Also guessing he "may" have a herniated disc. So we see xrays in this dog's future. This is NOT a good sign at all. No
After spending his nights in a mud room for the past 4 or 5 months, since his "Dad" died, Ben was THRILLED when I lifted him up onto my bed for the night. He romped and rubbed against me, did the digging in the blankets that they all do when I initially put them up there, and snuggled next to me a lot. Unfortunately for Sugar, Lacey and I, he is a "bed hog!" :D
Oh, Ben is a sweetheart! If he feels so at home at your home, I think it means he is supposed to be there --furever! However, I also know how expensive it gets with dogs with medical problems so..... Like the others, I have a little trouble telling yours apart. They are all so fluffy and white and soft looking. Isn't it amazing how a little dog can take up a whole bed so everyone else has hardly any room?
He is adorable! I hope his back problem is something that can be cured. I will say a prayer for him. He has a GReat name, by the way! I have a wonderful Ben who also came through rescue. He's just a lot bigger! :)
What a great face! He sure is a cutie. Please give Sugar, Lacey and Marlin extra scritches from me for being so accepting of this new "foster." Wow, he got to sleep in an bed last night? What a lucky boy he is. He isn't going to want to leave. Fingers crossed that the spine problem isn't as bad as it may initially appear.
I sure hope Ben is going to be okay. I have the same spine disorder, and it is manageable in people, so I'm saying a prayer for Ben. He looks like such a sweetie.
I just love the Bichon breed. My ex and his lady friend have one and he is such a sweetheart - the dog that is - not the ex!! :p
