Drake is a different dog in that collar. He is very smart and a quick learner, but likes to test his limits. We do not need it anymore around other dogs! We still use it on a day to day basis when we practice obedience and other commands. The prong collar was the only way I could teach Drake to heel.
Cincy is doing well on it too. She was great at class last night and even won a stuffed Teddy Bear for her sit/stays. I'm sure people in the class wonder why we have her on it cause she behaves so well...but she wouldn't with out it. Not yet anyway! I really thought I would hate using it, but she is doing so much better. Hopefully a little time on this and then we can go back to the regular collar.
