I was just browsing the political threads, and the following popped into my head:
It was a beautiful crisp fall day, the kids have been good all day, there's a pot of beef stew in the kitchen, fresh homemade bread and spice cake to go with it, A fire in the fireplace, and a dog on my hip, and my wife next to me on the couch.
Screwit, the rest just doesn't matter. :D

BRRRRR!!!! It's really chilly in Allentown right now! 38 degrees!!! We were in the upper 70s all week!
I'll take some home made stew (no store bought stuff, please), some warm and crusty bread to soak up the broth/stew part, and some warm cider.

I wish I could cook some, right now all I have at my disposal for cooking facilities is a mini fridge and a microwave. Anyone know how to make a microwave stew? :DQuote:
