I think you're right. He wasn't meant to go anywhere but here with me. For now anyway.

I'm sorry it didn't work out again but at least he is safe and sound with you. And who knows, maybe in a few years you'll remember back to this and say
"I can't believe how close I came to losing Buddy those couple of times in 2008". :)
