Aly, you've worked miracles before. I am hoping that the answer for Chance will come through you.
Sandra with Hannah the concern was for her liver, but the same principles apply here. What might have been a serious problem turned out to be an acute infection that made the test results look far more ominous than the actual situation. I certainly hope that is the case with our boy, Reece.
Now of course the worrying mother types in this crowd all are more than a bit concerned about you . Please do what you can to eat right and get enough rest. These stressful situations can wear you down.

Yeah Rachel, unfortunately the stress from the past 2 days has completely drained me. I feel like collapsing. And I still have a lot of packing to do. Movers will be here at 8am. I am wondering if I'm going to get to sleep at all. I just wish I could get some energy and get rid of this sick feeling. My blood sugar has shot through the roof even though I haven't been eating much.
I haven't felt this bad in awhile, but all I care about are Reece and Chance. Both of their situations are looking good so I am happy. :)

Oh Aly! The news sounds promising! Maybe everybody's prayers worked.
So glad that Reece the man is feeling better and is home with his family- tonight will be a better night and you will be less stressed for moving - I hope you will be closer to work. Too bad a few of don't live closer so we could help each other out in times like this.

Glad things are going better! I hope you are able to find a home for Chance. It'd be great if Cincy and Sadie could get a new brother. ;)
I hope Reece is ok! I've had pancreatitis twice. Although I'm sure it's not the same in humans as it is in dogs, it's a lot more serious then many people think. I didn't think it was that serious (although very, very painful!) but several doctors told me I could have died from it.

Wow, Aly, looks like you have had quite the weekend!
How's Reece doing? Perhaps a second opinion from another wet would be a good idea. If they have already done lab work and blood work, ask if you can take a copy. That way, you won't have to put Reece through the process at a different clinic.
So relieved to hear that Chance will be staying at your work. That is great! I can't wait to see a picture of the guy. You are so wonderful for saving his life, Aly.
Best of luck to you with the move and the dogs. Keep us posted.

I just read this on Monday a.m. at work (my home computer isn't working for some reason). I guess Aly is moving today so probably can't let us know what's up for a while so we all need to keep her - and her's - in our minds and hearts. We are thinking of you Aly, stay strong....eat...take deep breaths and kiss ReeceMan & LittleLolly right on their noses from all of us here at PetTalk. Chance will need you well too. Laurie

I have been so worried about both pups all day! Glad to hear all is going well!!!
-
Aly, I hope we hear from you today or I may need to call you! I still have your cell #.
-
Thinking about you. How's it going?
-
I too am wondering how things are going. Please let us know if you can...
-
Aly?
Hope everything is ok and the delay in your posting is just a matter of getting your computer hooked back up...
-
Aly, I hope that everything is okay. I know you're very busy but please let us know asap about Chance and Reece.
-
Know you are busy. Thinking about you and praying that all is well.
