What beautiful babies. No your explanation was not boring.
Higgins is quite the social guy. He's the only one of the outside crew that gets along with everyone else. Sometimes he hangs out with the front porch group, Lemon, Jane and Sydney (the ones that he showed up with) and other times he can be seen with the back porch monsters, Juliet, Jose and Gary. He also gets along with Morgan and Aroara. All the girls love him. He's a casanova to be sure!
Now, obviously not in order of the way they arrived here, here are pictures of the latest one to show up, Gary. I posted a thread about him a few months ago. I still haven't been able to trap him to get him to the vet. He is very particular about where he eats. If his bowl is moved, it walks right past it and stands where it should be. He's gotten much less scared of us. I've even touched his head and back a couple of times. Of course, I received a nice swat warning me to keep my distance once he realized the touches were coming from me and not Juliet! You can't see how funny he looks in these pictures. He's tall with awkward legs and a long body and a big head. You will be able to see in his eyes that he doesn't like being looked at. He was quite concerned with the camera. Once he noticed me pointing it at him he would run a little farther away. There's no real story to how he got his name. My oldest neice helped me name him. It was the first thing she thought of. As I mentioned in the other thread, I thought that was an appropriate name since our own Gary here takes in and is kind to kitties without homes. Anyway, enough chatter, here are pictures!
Gary is the one farthest from me. Juliet is in the middle and Jose is eating.
Then he ran off the porch.

Then he thought he was safe around the corner a bit.

Then he ran off some more. After this one I decided to leave him alone and let him come back and eat. He was almost already back on the porch before I could close the door!

One of these days I'm going to capture him and get him to the vet! I'm just not sure how yet.
Gary is one mightly handsome cat!!!
Gary looks like one of the ferals that used to come around my old house. I called him Ol' Tom. He was meaner than a rattlesnake and he was the only one that I had trouble trapping. It didn't do any good anyhow. He made his way back from the house of his new family and stayed at my old house after that. I hope you have better luck w/Gary than I did w/Ol' Tom, Moesha.
WELL GARY IS A MUCH HANDSOMER CAT, THAN I AM AS A PERSON, AND I KNOW THAT THE PET ANGELS ARE GIVING HIM A QUIET TALK ABOUT HOW IT MAY NOT BE THE WORST IDEA IN THE WORLD TO GO TO A KIND HEARTED LADY WHO HAS LOTS OF FOOD.
THAT ARGUMENT HAS ALWAYS CONVINCED ME IN THE PAST YEARS!!!
GOOD LUCK WITH MY LITTLE NAMESAKE!!:love:
He's beautiful! I love his eyes and his perfect tabby markings.
This part makes my eyes leaky...

Gary sure does have those puffy Tomcat cheeks! I see what you mean about his long legs and big head. He is a neat looking guy! He sounds like he is a fellow who likes his 'routine' and doesn't like things changed up too much, like his food bowl! lol I can just imagine him walking past the new location for the food and saying "I'll be at my usual table". I hope you will be able to catch him at some point to get him snipped. :)
Juliet is a pretty cat with those white boots! And Jose looks to be quite big from that picture!
I look forward to seeing pics of the rest of your furfamily!
P.S. I was pretty sure you were an Alias fan because of your Avator. :)
