I wish our pets could live longer. Sassy's last pictures are so adorable. Your favorite one is my favorite one too. It breaks my heart that Sassy is physically no longer on PT. But her spirit will be on this forum forever. Thanks for sharing the photos.
What a beautiful girl Sassy was! I can tell she was loved very, very much. Thanks for sharing these, Alyssa.

She was such a beautiful girl, and very loved. Thank you for sharing those pictures with us.
Wonderful pictures of Sassy. A great way to remember her sparkling eyes & cute smile. The one of you holding her is really special. She's still with you, you just can't see her with your eyes, you can still feel her with your heart.:love:
I, too, thanks you, sweetie, for taking the time to post the pictures. I know how hard it was, but I'm pleased you're smiling at your wonderful memories. Sassybean will always be in my heart too. Hugs.
Sassy was a beautiful dog. She is missed by all of us!
Thank you to all those who replied. I appreciate it!

she was a lovely girl. I have always enjoyed seeing her pictures. I'm sorry that these are the last photos of her you'll be sharing with us but at the same time I am glad that the memory of her makes you smile.
I didn't say anything before this because I thought I'd look like I wanted sympathy, but really...why does this thread barely get any replies? I have always replied to people's dogs, pets and even some cat memorial thread, every time it was a PT doggy. I didnt care when it was just some regular picture thread or anything like that, but this is my dog's last pictures. I've always replied to other people's and it just hurts me that this has so little replies, when I've ALWAYS supported people who's pets have died. Sorry just the way I feel.
I am not trying to start something but this is obviously something important to me that I chose to share. I understand some people don't have time, shouldn't be online at work, etc. But a little reply is better then nothing to me.
Oh Alyssa, I'm sorry you're upset about this.:( I'm thinking maybe it would have been better put in Dog Memorial? Threads get lost so fast in Dog General, perhaps many didn't notice it. {hugs}
I am soo sorry that Sassy passed 2 weeks ago and I never said a thing :(. I rarely come on PT anymore compared to last year because of other things. I know it must had been hard to post these pictures. Rest In Peace Sassy.
I just got done watching your video of Sassy - wow - what a great testimonial to her and your mutual love for each other. She certainly was a special little puppy! I can't even find words to express the feelings I had watching that video of her. I guess it brings out what sweetness and cuteness she had in her. And you were a very special mom to her teaching her the tricks and taking so many wonderful pictures of her.
As to why people aren't responding - and I was planning on responding even before I read your post - I think this time of year is hard for everyone to keep up on Pet Talk. I know I am outside far more that I was in the winter and therefore am not on the computer much in the evenings. I am more of an outside person - I love my flower gardens and pond and would rather be out there than anywhere else. I have also noticed that some of the more "regulars" are not posting as much period - maybe for the same reason I am not or because of other situations. I know it is hard not to be hurt by the lack of responses because she was your very special girl. I also think that sometimes people don't know what to say or have time to read the post but not respond. I am not really supposed to be on here at work but I sneak every now and then. Actually my boss is out of the office today and has been some this week, so I have been able to respond more. If you look at how many people have viewed your post you should feel better. Over 400 people have read it!
I am very sorry for your loss and for your disappointment in the lack of responses to your thread.
Thank you for sharing your photos. Shes such a pretty little girl :)
