I'm so sorry Val. :( I hope his wife is interested in you taking pictures of the dog.
I'm so sorry to hear that he's passed on.:( My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
So sad! Just so sad! I am sorry.

Val...I am really sorry to hear this...he was alive for a while, and I hoped he would make it after the first 24 hours.
I like Phred's idea about the dig pic for the calling (if they are having one).

Val, I'm very sorry about your coworker. Life doesn't always seem fair.
Please don't feel guilty about not taking the pictures. I know it's not easy. With work and home and always things to do, your friend put the picture on the back burner. I agree with Phred, a photo of his pup would be a nice touch. I put pictures of the family, Cody and Logan in with my mom (among other things).
Prayers for your co-worker and his family. Yes, life is so fragile, gone in an instant. I think they will really appreciate you taking pictures. :)
I'm going to contact his wife this evening and give her the option of getting the photos now. He was only 24 :(
Not sure how I missed this earlier but I'm so sorry about all of this. It's tough to lose someone at any age but so young, that's so sad.
I am so sorry about your friend. {{{{hugs}}}} I hope his wife is coping okay. I think she will be very happy to take the pictures with the dog soon.
