That is horrible. My heart dog Zoe used to get hotspots but I would never have taken her to the shelter.

Very sorry to hear that. Poor pups and stupid people! Why do people even get pets?

The little bugger is definitely staying where she is and is very happy and active. I haven't spoken to my ex-SIL in the last few days..I'm almost afraid to..so I don't know if the other puppies have been taken to the SPCA yet.
