I feel really bad for them. One thing is to have issues in your life (privately) ... and another is to have them in public with everyone scrutinizing your every move. I really pity both of them. Down on luck and I bet the people that surround them didn't help any... probably contributed to thier problems.

I am a huge fan of Amy's music and am distressed to see her and Britney fall apart so publicly - both of them need someone to take care of them and they don't seem to have them
This is actually the first time I've felt sorry for Britney.

She looked better than she has for months!
seems that her hubby has written a letter from prison begging her not to divorce him now she is thinking clearly.......
Go Amy!!
I'm so happy for her. Did you see how shocked she was when she won? I loved it. You don't see that too much these days. Everyone expects to win now and doesn't truly appreciate the awards.

Amy Winehouse's mum Janis's joy at her daughter's recovery
that is the title of the link that Brody's mom just posted and it made me LOL.
She just recently went into rehab and anyone thinking she can be "cured" so easily is deluding themselves. I wish both of those girls the best, but one or two weeks of sobriety is nothing yet. Being clean is a lifelong struggle.
I don't think they are under any illusions....
"Amy's going to need support. You can never say someone won't return to drugs"
"The family know as a recovering addict Amy could be tempted back, but we're hoping now she's clean she'll stay that way."
althought I agree that she is far from cured
I met a gal last week who works at a restaurant in Hollywood-It rhymes with P.F. Whang's.
I asked her about who were the best and worst celebs that she's seen-
Allegedly, BS was in right after her release from the bin and she-
Smoked pot in the powder room, forgot to sign the credit card receipt and didn't leave a tip.
--------
That totally stupid look of amazement on AW's face when they announced her win was priceless....
Of course she's gonna get the pity vote. Natalie Cole was right on the money with her assessment.
And did anyone have the b*lls to ask her to leave??Quote:

I read that she also went into a clothes shop, yelled at the staff not to go any ****ing where near her then shut herself and latest boyfriend in the changing rooms for 45 minutes - why did no one throw her out?
Because she's Britney Spears... :rolleyes:Quote:
