Jenn, I was going to suggest you try Nancy and it is well worth her fee to see a unhappy baby, turn into a happy one. I do suggest you go on now and get your name on her list..... I WISH I had done it sooner and saved all of us that misery.
I don't know how she could explaine it to Zack that would make him feel any better though, but maybe it can help him to understand it better? With Boo, there was history with us, that connection of Mama and the gurantee that she will not be moving anymore, she is here to stay and how much I love her. Then Mama actually showing up to defend and reassure her.
I would still give her a try and hopefully, she can come up with something that would reassure him and let him know you care about him.. I just feel SO bad for him and what he has gone through already. I wish people would understand they have feelings too!

Poor Zach. He must be so confused and hurt.

Thats A Shame That Zachs Taking This So Hard But Moving Back And Forth Would Upset Anyone, Especially Someone Who These Changes Cannot Be Explained To!!!
We Hope That Maybe Being In A Room On His Won Will Calm Nim Down, If Thats Possible.
Poor Old Zach , Hes A Bit Like Tubster Who Spends A Lot Of Time On The Porch Or In The Basement Wheres Hes By Himself.

It took 3 days, but I got a purr out of him last night, and then again this AM! He's getting a little more settled, thankfully. It was so good to hear that purr and to not see the frustration on his little face (he looked like a little kid who wanted to beat someone up!). He was sleeping in the comfy chair in the library room (without me putting him in there), and he seemed content to be in there and just relaxing. He even had his front paws crossed, and there was a slight smile on his face (at least to me it looked like a smile :) )
Sigh....
Hoping he'll continue to come around. He's such a sweet and handsome boy... I would hate to think that this will affect him permanently.
