I couldn't tear myself away and watched until all miners were safely out of the mine. So many things impressed me: When they were brought out, they all were greated with clapping from everyone and smiles and tears. The Governor walked with each one up the hill to the medical people and helped carry some of the stretchers. It was just incredible. I heard this morning that one of the miners wouldn't sleep until he saw the sunrise. At one time, they wrote notes to put in a bucket for their loved ones while they were in the mine because they didn't think they would make it. This was when the accident first happened. One thing that gives me chills and makes me say an extra prayer is the broken drill bit. The one that held up drilling to 18 hours. They said if that bit hadn't broken and held up drilling, they would have broken through the roof into water and might have broke the air pocket and flooded the entire area. Instead we have 9 miracles. Waaaa Hooo!!!:D
