I'm a cat person, just visiting, and not up on all these dog things. What does it mean that a dog failed the hip test? And what happens to this dog now that you're not going to take her?Quote:

That's it for now. :)
This means she has hip dysplasia. Not sevure or anything, but her hips are not healthy enough to do competive agility. The owner will just keep looking for a good home for her, she is not in danger of going to a shelter now that I have gotten to know the owner, she loves her and is looking out for her well being. I would have tooken her if I was looking for a dog to come in to my home for just a pet, but since I was to trial she is just not the right dog for me.Quote:

What a handsome man! When will you know about this little guy?
Are you trying to think of registered names, or just a call name?
(I thought the suggestion of Jake was good, sounds jazzy, like he looks)
I hope Sage finds a good home, sounds like his owner is looking out for his well-being.
I am so sorry to hear about Sage, Bre. I really hope that you will get this little guy, though! He's a beauty!
I am sorry to hear things didn't work out with Sage. I hope this guy works out for you! He's beautiful. I can't help with names, as I'm not good at coming up with them at all, especially when it comes to males.
Yah! I am meeting him on Sunday! Can't wait!
I was thinking about this at work for some reason but I thought you wanted a Standard poodle?
Ohhh Sunday is only in two days!! I might be getting a little bit too excited for you, lol :D
For some reason, the name "Leo" popped into my head when I saw his picture...I also like Taz_Zoee's suggestion of Zach, and your idea of Aiden.
I was going to get one next year (the litter is planned), but then this whole thing started with Zoey, and my boss told me when I move out it will be hard to find renters who will allow 2 big dogs. So I told the breeders to take me off there waiting list. Doesn't mean I won't have a standard, just not at the moment.Quote:
