The vet told me today that Bassett is overweight too! But I already knew that!! She is 7.29 kg.. so that's 16 lbs!! My boyfriend Nathan just told me that 2.2lb = 1kg, so now we have a conversion chart! :D :D :D

i have a fat cat but have no pics on my pc of her.
my cat is "overweight" too. she's 13.5 lbs and the vet says she needs to go down to about 11 lbs. of course, I think she's perfect just the way she is! the bigger the kitty, the more there is to love! :D
Mischeif is 3 months old and already weighs 5 lbs. Tigger is 2 years old, he weighs 20 lbs. Peppurr is 1 year old and weighs 15 lbs. Vader, Twinkles, Spaz, Felix and Majesty are all in the 10 lb range.

Ritzy is somewhere between 12 and 15 lbs....I always think she is a bit "chubby" but vet says she is healthy and well within kitty normal parameters....(but I think he would say anything to get "Catzilla" out of his office) :)
We do "control" her food intake - and exercise (stairmouse, get the mousie)....she can really move that big kitty behind when she has a mind to!

Unfortunatley I can't because I don't have a scanner or digital camera!! :( And I can't figure out how to make the pics from my webcam small enough so that I can post on here! :confused:
I don't know what kind of cat Bassett is. I can try taking some pics and maybe emailing them to you? You can PM me if you like with your address. I will be away for the next two weeks but I can do it when I get back :D
I love all these pudgy kitty photos!! The words my vet used for Bassett was "She's a bit of a tub!" LOL :D :D
