I too enjoyed your pictures so much and even though I liked them all the rooftop picture is perhaps my favorite. Just beautiful. I feel fortunate to be an armchair travelor today.
Nice pictures! The houses are beautiful. :)
Thank you very much!!
Yes, I too like the architecture of these old builings! Not all houses here in Germany look like that, but the ones in the photos are very old, some of them maybe 700 or 800 years, that's how old our town is, and these half-timberted houses were built in the Middle Ages!
It's very strange about the lilac! They're far ahead of their time! But we literally had no winter, and we already had several heat records this year, so nature is totally messed up. Geez, Germany will turn into a tropical country when it's going on like this!
@cassiesmom: Yes, of course you can show it to your co-workers! :)

I think we have the most wonderful spring for years and years now :)
Here the lilacs are also in flowers- and that normally happens 3 weeks later.
Kirsten, thank you for the pics. If only you could photograph the fragrance as well ;)
Wow Kirsten, those pictures are terrific!! My favorite is the honeybee :)
I love Spring colours too, that is why Spring has always been my favorite season. We didn't have a winter here either, and right now we have summer temperatures and NO RAIN since March  . My hubby has to water the garden every evening, normally a summer-job!!
Great photos, Kirsten! I also love the houses in the town - which one is it?
Trees here are also turning green now, about a month before they usually do! And we have a clear blue sky too. :)
I swear, this was taken almost two weeks ago!

That makes me miss Germany so much. They're beautiful photos!
It's lovely. Here also everything turned green within one week and it's abnormally hot. I love the lilac picture with the little fly you "caught" on the left ;)
LOL@Barbara: I love the smell of lilac, too! :)
Randi, our trees looked almost the same two weeks ago, and now they're all green!
Lut, I read tonight this April was way too dry, not as half as much rain as it should be.
Though I agree that this is pretty unnatural, I cannot say that I do not enjoy this warm and sunny weather, but disliking heat, I already start worrying about the summer... :( Seems like every new month here is breaking another heat record...
