Oh, I HOPE they can get him in sooner! That is really close to his 'safe' deadline!
If only there was an "elective" surgery they could move...I am sure there are other urgent cases!
But so glad all the money was raised! :)
It really does seem ridiculous that they'd make him wait. I mean, it's CANCER! Normally the sooner it's treated the better. It's not like they're scheduling a teeth cleaning! Grrr!!! I'd be adamant that Tigger be taken care of ASAP. That vet sounds like a jerk for making her wait.
Is there only one vet there?
I posted suggesting Kathy go there in person, if possible, a bit spiffed up and pleasant (REALLY hard right now, I know) to put Tigger on a cancellation list. Sometimes a personal touch makes all the difference - and something may even open up while she is there.
Stranger things have happened!
PT PRAYERS for Tigger!
Tigger is home and feeling well enough to be nawtee. Thank you for everyone who donated. You can see updates here
If I did this right, I've attached a photo of Tigger living the good life. http://www.imom.invisionzone.com/com...e=post&id=2718
Tigger is doing great and trying his best to sneak out the door(succeeded twice-caught twice). He is very much his perky self again - thank you for everything in saving this kitty.
I will be screening in the porch so he can have a good safe place to sun himself in the summer and winter. Not to mention a close up view of the birds in the birdhouses.
We are so glad that Tiggers home and in good spirits after his ordeal, and having my Porch enclosed was about the best thing that I did for the Found Cats.
We know that Tigger and his friends will enjoy thae great outdoors safely.
I'm sorry I've missed all this but sure glad to read the happy ending.
