Ok, sounds like a plan Kimmy. We will plan on leaving about 9am then and that should put us there about 11 unless we stop and pick up Joann and then it would be about 11:30. I haven't had a chance to get a hold of her yet. Maybe we could get a quick lunch and eat at a park or something. We just have to be careful of the amount of time we're gone because of the other dogs.

How did the garage sale go Molly?
-
I don't have a total either (that will come tomorrow) but the word I heard Saturday was that is was better then last year. I think the location is bad, becuase although it is on a busy street we have it inside the studio, so it is not as easy to see from the road. Advertisemtn as never been very organized either. Oh well, we try!
Another Weim! That would be great! They are just so cute! I am sure the possiblity od blindness will be a challenge, but you guys can handle it! I am not sure I could go to something like that without coming home with 4 or 5 at least! I did hear this weekend there is a woman here in town that works with our local no kill shleter, who has 12 of her own and right now has 7 fosters! I haven't met her, but I think you would get along great :)
-
I'm glad your garage sale went better than last year. Maybe next year with a little advertising it will go even better!!
I don't know about Ciel, I'm sure we won't get her, but we did get an email from Scrap's foster mom and is interested in hearing about us. I'll let you know.

How did the garage sell go?
-
I haven't heard yet, but Scrap's foster mom has emailed me twice today and may be bringing her down here this weekend so she can meet the crew and see how it goes and I'll ask her then or if she emails me back soon I'll let you know!! Thanks for being interested.
-
Hope things go well with Scrap. What kind of dog?
-
I'm not really sure. She is really a sweetie though. She's 8 and comes with a cage. I think she may have grown up here in Fort Wayne! I'll find out more when her foster mom calls me. Her mom lives about 5 minutes from our house!! lol She's on the website if you want to see what she looks like. www.petrefuge.com . Let me know what you think.
-
I thought Scrap was a cutie! She was the only dog that didn't snap, growl, or bark at Kia. *laughs*
I wish you all the luck that the meeting works out! :D
-
Scrap is hard to resist! :D
So are many of the others though. It breaks my hear to know how many there are :(
By the way I'm still waitint to see pics of your previous addition:D Any chance of any coming up soon?
-
Well Gio, they're there, it's just getting them into imagestation. Now, are we talking about Max or Sammy?? lol
-
Scrap is beautiful. She has very intelligent eyes! How great it would be if you get her...I'm sure her foster mom would like being so close and being able to visit her :) Hope the meeting goes well!
-
Well, foster mom lives in South Bend, foster Grandma lives about 5 minutes away. The plans are so far to meet Saturday morning. Isn't Charlie a sweetie too??
-
oops :) I read that wrong before :) Oh well, she hasn't visit her mom right? So she still would get to see scrap :) Yes, Charlie definatly is a cutie too! I love the way that site photographs their dogs...they look so much happier then the dogs at a lot of resuce/shelter sites. The Lab/basset mixes are adorable too!
-
Oh and those Lab/Basset mixes are just too adorable. Slinky Inky is Mr. Personality whereas Cleo is REALLY shy. We met all the dogs last weekend. Charlie is just a little cuddle bug...he won't last long at all. The number of black dogs in there is amazing...I'm beginning to believe the one rescue site in Michigan that calls it the Black Dog Syndrome...no one wants to adopt them.
