Many of these ignorant sounding ads are posted by individuals just trying to get a reaction.
I have a dear friend who is a canine behaviorist, trainer and rescuer that's addicted to reading that stuff on Craig's list too. She keeps herself in a constant state of frustration and continues to respond to them without once ever having any positive results.
For awhile she was sending them to me every day. I finally had to ask her to stop by explaining that since there was absolutely nothing I could do about it--sending them to me was pointless.
WOW! What a stupid idiot of a woman! I cannot believe this! What do you expect when you get a dog, they are not flipping stuffed animals!
I don't think it's real, but then people never stop surprising me with their BS.
Yeah, I was thinking about this last night and realised that there had to be a good chance that it was a fakey after all. I mean, it's just too ridiculous to be real. The way it's put and all, I think it is purposely meant to dumbfound people.
Maybe the woman needs to rehome the dog for more legitimate reasons, and is just using the ad as a ploy to get more exposure or get sympathy for the dog.
I could be wrong ... sometimes I underestimate the stupidity of the human race ... but I highly doubt that is a real ad. It's just too rehearsed-sounding. Someone who is familar with that website ought to answer it and see what the response is.
Although that is a very good point ...Quote:

Wow, I am speechless. Sure, she may not have time, but she gets mad when she wants to be petted? Even a baby can tell you that a dog likes to be petted. She never should have got her.
Now that's practically asking for someone to fight her.Quote:
No fighters. If you say you will not fight her I will believe you.
Somehow, I get the feeling that she wouldn't care if someone fought her, I think she just wants to get rid of her as fast as she can.
I was thinking of replying to her ad but I don't want her to take her anger out on the poor dog. The dog's already going through living with an uncaring owner. I just don't want this woman to dump the dog just to get rid of it.
I can't take the dog. I can only have 1 dog in my apartment.
This was posted on Craigslist (I think it was about that stupid woman):
I posted 2 posts over the past week- 1 stated if you are looking for a pit puppy to go to a rescue or shelter, as there are millions there.
Another was a joke, claiming my life was too important to take care of my pit bull any longer.
This person emailed me on both posts, asking how many pits I had and how old they all were.
It's very suspicious and I expect she's looking to supply fighters, from the content of her emails to me.
Beware, is all.
