they are really soft! :D I've got one of them hangin out on my arm right now.
They are so cute! I haven't had baby chicks in 15 years or more... I hope you have a great time with them! I love the little black & white ones.
Lute, city slicker question here ... what will you do with the baby chicks when they're ... uhmm ... grown? Will you move them to a hen house? They sure are cute.
the chicks will be moved outdoors to a fenced area with a hen house when they are 5-6 weeks old. IF the weather is nice enough. Unfortinatly, I live too close to neighbors to keep any roosters. since these chicks are straight run i may have to find homes for the ones that turn out to be roosters.Quote:

They are VERY cute! I see them at the farm store, in a couple weeks, along with the baby ducks and baby turkeys etc. I always wonder how many are going to end up . . . on a dinner table!
Awwwww! Sooo sooo cute!
Too bad you live so far away, I can always use more roosters! I love my roosters!Quote:

critter crazy, I wish I lived closer to you too! I'd be visiting your big puppies and lovely chickens all the time! :D :p
Yup! dont eat my chickens either, they are for pets and eggs. They all have names! ;)Quote:

AWW they are so cute!!!! do you have a special food that you feed them? where are their mother/s?
Chicks are fed a special diet called "Chick Starter feed", found at you local Feed store. Chicks purchased from feed stores, or Hatcheries, as day olds, are hatched in Incubators.Quote:
