She's so beautiful! It must really warm your heart to see her fit in so well from day 1. Tamara, I'm so happy for you and Stuart, but moreso for Tehya. As Phred said it, she hit the doggy lotto.
Do you think that Anvik won't be so clingy to you now that he has a buddy to keep him company?
OOOOOhhhhhh. I am so excited. I knew she'd hit it off with Anvik as soon as I saw her photo yesterday!!! Wooo Hooo a doggie match made in heaven. Looks like she already loves her new mommie too!!!! Thank you for taking her in. Miss Tehya, no more fence climbing little one, you've landed at the very best doggie place on earth, enjoy sweetie!!!
YAY!!! for everyone!!....... lucky couple she and Anvik make........ they will sure have a blast together........
Lovely pics, I ADORED the one with Heyoka....such a big bear he looks like......I wanna hug him........((big bear hug))
"I learned from Earle to never have a puppy again" yeah sure.........;)
She a beauty and a love, and I think that she and Anvik are a match made in, if not heaven, a spot a little further North!
Stunning pics as always!!!!
Tam, she is so beautiful! I am so thrilled Annie has a soul dog, couldn't happen to a luckier guy!
There ya go Annie, more reason to heal quickly so you can spend more time with that beautiful lady your fantastic Mom brought home just for you!!! :p

Thanks everyone. Tehya had a good night. She whined for a few minutes in her crate, until she realized everyone was going to bed and she wasn't missing anything. Then she settled right down. Chewed on her kong for a bit and slept through the night. She was outside running with big dogs when I left. I was a little worried about leaving her in the main yard, but she is completely unconcerned! She is very confident and she responds well to cues from the other dogs. Stuart is at home today so he can keep an eye on things.

YAY !!
She really is adorable. And I love the youthful exuberance she brings to the yard. Isn't it fun to experience everything for the first time again through the eyes of a puppy? Oh yeah, she will keep you all on your toes for a while.
great pics!
She's beautiful!
She lucked out and found the BESTEST home!
She is so beautiful ... as are all of your dogs! How cute that she just fit right in and had so much fun playing!!! I absolutely enjoyed ALL of your pictures! :D
wow! She is just beautiful! I'm glad she fit right in and made friends. :D
She is absolutely adorable. Ani needed a soulmate anyway and it looks like those two love each other. She fit right in like she'd always been there. That's great!
:p I just had to come look at these pictures again! BTW, Star sends woooos to Muskwa, she thinks he looks especially handsome in that first picture! Tahya, you've found your furever family, sweetie! So glad the boys lke her. How 'bout the girls? Has she met any of them yet? (crosses fingers she gets along with everybody except Kayleigh, of course)

It was just an "I am the boss of you" kinda lecture. Tehya understood and went back to play with dogs who actually play! Sleet seemed indifferent, but gave her a good sniffing. Sleet generally likes puppies, but she won't put up with anyone trying to play rough with her.
Tehya hasn't met Goldie or Raven yet, except through the fence. She'll meet Raven eventually. I expect she'll get put in her place and then Raven will be fine with her, as long as she's not in Raven's territory. Raven considers her pen hers and hers alone. In the big yard, she's much less bossy! Teyha likely won't meet Goldie any closer than she has, unless Goldie is on leash. She'll never meet Kayleigh, except through the fence.
I just booked her first vet app't for next week. I can't imagine she's had much vet care. She needs a check up and her rabies shot before they'll spay her. She's not showing any signs of going into heat, but if her owners wouldnt' pay 150 bucks to get her back, I doubt they paid 200 to get her spayed! That will be done asap!
