Incredibly handsome boy!!
My Bo, orange and white, also has a spot on his lip like Fister. I asked the vet about it when Bo was a little young thing and the vet said that orange cats tend to get them more than other colors. He said it could be removed if it gets large and bothersome, but right now it's just a spot and (I think) kind of cute.
There's an orange cat at the pet food store that I patronize and he has about 10 spots on his lips. It looks like he's been eating dirt!
I thought they looked kind of like freckles. You know how redheads are more prone to freckles than others, so it makes sense that orange kitties are more prone to freckles too. :) I think they're kind of cute. :DQuote:

One of my cats has those lip-markings. They were lighter when he was young and greww darker after about the age of 5 years.
I call them 'beauty spots' :)
