Sounds just like me! My glasses come off to shower and sleep, and that's it. I couldn't see my own hands without my glasses.Quote:

Yes, Karen sounds like ME as well! Glad I could vote on both YES items.
I had contacts for 21 years and LOVED them. Just used my glasses early morning and late at night, before the contacts went in and after they came out. I really enjoyed contacts. It took me 2 WEEKS of going in to the doctor's office every day to learn to put them in and take the contacts out. They won't let you take contacts home until you can get them "on" and "off" easily. During that 21 year, no one but family saw me in my glasses, no one even knew I had contacts.
Then I got older . . . .
Three years ago, one June afternoon, I headed out to the back yard to do one of my favorite things: sit in the sun with a glass of ice tea and read a murder mystery. I had my contacts in. I needed my $1 pair of reading glass to see the book, and my sunglasses on top of all of that. Sigh. Every time Dad asked me something, I'd look up, take off the sun galsses, remove the readers, put the sunglasses back on, and chat with him. Then my eyes started watering so I went in and took out the contacts and put on my regular glasses. And then the readers. And then the sun glasses. MY NOSE WASN'T LONG ENOUGH TO HOLD EVERYTHING IN PLACE !!!!!! :p
Called the eye doc for an appointment that same afternoon. Since then, I have not worn contacts ever again. I got a pair of prescription transitions lens with the built in sun protector. WONDERFUL! And folks who had known me for years asked about my "new" glasses, ha ha ha.
Nope, don't wear glasses or contacts. But if I needed them I would wear them.
I wear contacts and have a pair of back up glasses.
I can't see my hand in front of my face without them!!!
Yep, contacts for me 90% of the time. I wear my glasses around the house and to give my eyes a rest from the contacts.
I wear glasses 90% of the time. Only when I'm sleeping, swimming, etc. I don't wear them. I think I will look prettier without glasses, so I'm going to try contacts, and see if I like them..if not I'll HAVE to keep my glasses.
I wear glasses most of the time...but i do have contacts as well
I wear glasses for reading. I can't see anything up close! Put something in front of me, and I'm blind as can be.
Willie :)
I wear both. I just got a new pair of glasses that I really like so I wear my glasses more now. I don't wear them when I'm working with the dogs. Deuce has already broken the brand new pair once! He has no concept of how big he is or how hard his head is! I wear my contacts whenever I'm outside, especially in the winter. Frosty lenses drive me crazy!
I wear contacts and love them. I never have any problems with them. I pop them in as soon as I get up in the morning and pop them out at night before bed.
I can't stand wearing glasses. I have a pair, but never wear them. I hate the way they feel. Justin likes the way I look in glasses, but I prefer to be comfortable and wear my contacts. I'll probably wear my glasses a bit once the baby is born because I won't want to put my contacts in when I get in the night to tend to the baby.
nope. i sure don't.
