I love Martina.

When my grandpa passed away, a couple days before his funeral, Alan Jackson's "Drive - For Daddy Gene" came on the radio and every verse fit. I had to stop the car to have a good cry.

Pretty song - I first knew of Martina McBride from The Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack!

You all can't possibly know how much your kind and loving words mean to me! My heart (and eyes - :rolleyes: ) are overflowing with emotions right now. Just knowing that each of you cares enough to share with me during all of this, and give of your own feelings and memories, is priceless!

I recognize this song from the radio and think it is beautiful. I can see why you relate to the lyrics Kim.

Kim as someone who listens to country music 24/7, when you mentioned Martina McBride I had a pretty good idea which song you meant. I don't think I will ever hear this song again without thinking of you and your wonderful strength and faith. Rachel summed it up:

Kimmy, that is an awesome song. We should all leave wonderful memories for our children and grandchildren like AJ mentions in that song (he wrote it about his father). Your grandfather must have been a wonderful man.
