:) We usually have ham and turkey but just turkey this year
We have both, big family. And double that since we celebrate Thursday with one family and Saturday with the other. I eat neither though. I have corn and potatoes. I get sick when I get excited or nervous so I don't eat much on the holidays, as I'd be meeting and greeting my food again later.
Sorry for not telling what i have, we eat turkey at my mother in laws and my mom fixes a ham with pineapple and brown sugar on it. I'm not much on turkey its a little to dry for me seems like no matter how you fix it its still dry.
I feel sorry for all the turkeys on that day,
We already had ThanksGiving here in Canada, I stuck with the stuffing and gravy ... I'm glad I'm not a fan of Turkey cause to me it taste kinda weird.
As a Turkey would say - ' RUN! for your life day! '
We had turkey.
We're vegetarians so we have something else entirely. :) Last year Eric made a big Indian dinner. This year, I don't know since we're not having any company. It's supposed to be really nice weather so we'll probably take a hike with the dogs instead of eating a huge meal.
We have both ;)
:) Turkeys are safe here Due I Like My Honey Basted Smoked Spiral Ham for both holidays.. Then I wont eat ham until next year.. See I eat turkey when its not a holiday.. :D Opps now the Turkeys' know when to go hide..
Turkey and all the usual trimmings for Thanksgiving and baked ham for
Christmas.I love all the traditional Thanksgiving food. :)
My daughter is trying to get us all to go vegetarian. Which I think would be good, but Thanksgiving without a turkey... Well that is going to take a bit of getting used too. I don't really like ham. Too salty.
Neither for me, seeing as I'm a vegetarian.
The fact that I'm a vegetarian doesn't stop my family from eating their meat, though^^. I don't even know what they're going to have.. I think turkey & deer.
Turkey, but I'd rather have Ham!! Yummy!! :p
I'm having Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws tomorrow with turkey, but then on Saturday I'll be having dinner again with my sister and her family and we're having Lasagna!!!
David's mom always made both a turkey and ham, usually ate a little of each. I'll be having neither this year.
Turkey! I do not like the taste of ham. However growing up my grandmother was convinced that it wasn't a feast unless you had two different meats. So we always had both turkey and ham at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Turkey, I don't like ham at all unless it's with Chicken Cordon Blue. It tastes odd to me. I've never had anything but Turkey as the meal for Thanksgiving. Don't know what we are having this year for Christmas. :p
