Glacier,
What a wonderful surprize!!! Your Dad sounds alot like mine was, rough around the edges but a heart of gold, who would give you the shirt off his back.
Have a wonderful holiday with your family.

Very sweet... I'm glad you get to have a nice Christmas with your family this year.
Any reason in particular that Stuart hates the holidays??
That is wonderful news Tamara :D, enjoy your holidays.
:D ...dashing through the snow..... :D
What a wonderful gift! Have a wonderful time and don't forget your camera!
How lovely! I am excited for you too. :D
Someone has already said it - but I will say it again - you are receiving a lovely Christmas present from your Dad - BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT.
There are many blessings on Pet Talk - and you are one of them!
Have a wonderful Christmas.
Yeah, just what Glacier needs! MORE dashing through the snow...<snicker snicker>.....Quote:

Horray! Nothing like being home for the holidays. :)
He had a pretty miserable childhood and Christmas was no better than the rest of the year. He comes from a small family and most of them don't speak to each other anymore. He has contact only with his father. I come from a huge extended family and in general we all get along pretty well. I don't get along with one of my brothers, but we are civil to each other at family events and he doesn't influence my relationship with his kids, who I adore.Quote:

Not even an excuse really since we can not find a house/critter sitter! One of us always has to stay home!
Well, it's good that you have a built-in critter sitter but I am sad for him that he doesn't enjoy such a special time of year. :(
That's awesome that you'll be spending Christmas with your parents & sibs.
I think that is absolutely awesome! Lucky you. I would not like living quite that far from my family. I hope all goes well and you have a wonderful visit.
