I fully understand your health comes before hers. If you do happen to have spare time you should take her to the vet anyway, but if you don't I understand. Just keep us updated. And good luck with the eye. I agree with lv4dogs, eye problems are nothing to mess around with.Quote:

I guess I wasnīt too off on my suggestion, glad to hear itīs nothing worse. keep the good work and care........on Daisy and on YOU!!....... take care and donīt work that eye too much ;)
Tim, a good veterinarian would not do a check up through photos. After you get your eyes checked, you should call the vet and schedule an appointment for the day after or as soon as possible.
The neosporin may help a little, but Daisy's ears need to be looked at through the naked eye of the veterinarian.

I know if it were my vet & I could not get there in time & I was just there with my pet I'd want my vet to help me in any way shape or form.
Most vets won't even speak to you on the phone, they have their techs & recetionists do it for them. I think you've got a great vet.

Also, I know what those kinda situations can be like (your eye situation) you know it's coming but you just gotta wait and see if it gets worse and today just happened to be the day that it needed to be checked on, which also was the day you planned on taking Daisy in, sometimes somethings just can't be helped.
My husband works third shift and everyone always forgets he needs to sleep too! I am sure that if you didn't feel comfortable with the vets answer you would of taken her in. I hope her ears continue to heal without any problems. My daughter has a lazy eye and we only noticed it in May and by July(when the specialist could finally get her in) she was having a hard time with her vision. She nows wears glasses all the time and is doing fine.
Thank You All for your replies, I to think that Dr.Watson is a good vet he called me on his cell phone on his dinner break. I told him I had sent the pictures and didnt know if he would look at them after I came back from the doctor I called him what I didnt know is he even took the time to call me back, he had talk to my brother in law. I do appreciate everyones opinion but I think that he can look at a picture and tell if anything is wrong with it. If anyone wants to see the pics i can send them to u but they r close up of a ear that has been cut, they look bad to me because i was afraid to wash them and they are dirty and show scabbing so if you are weak stomached dont ask for them. Thank You all again.
Good luck with your eye problem, Tim. Are you able to get glasses soon? They will help alot. It's so easy to overreact to things you're not sure about and haven't seen before. It's wonderful that the vet even called back twice. He probably realizes how hard it is or you to get there. Both of my sons work nights, too. There are times it's days before they can schedule anything during daytime business hours. It's important to keep a regular sleep schedule. Give that Daisy girl of yours a big hug for me, I hope her ears keep healing.
