I am so sorry,
Wishing Jax oodles of get well wishes.
awwww so sorry
Jax is one of the most elegant and royal dogs I've ever seen. Poor baby. I hope he has a quick, painless recovery.
Thank you all. He is not my dog. He is my bosses dog and Beenies best buddy.Quote:

YIKES! Sounds ouchie, Jax. Stay quiet and heal quickly!
REMEMBER THIS THREAD.... WELLLL.... Jax got his cast off a week ago and seems to be doing better. He still needs to take it easy and will have to wait 6 months until he can run and play with Beenie.
I'm just glad he's OK and was patient enough to let his leg heal.
:)
I will try to get some pictures of him Monday.
Get better Jax!!! :)
Hope your recovery time is quick Jax!

Hottie has a plate in his left rear leg also. I had to watch no stairs for a month, and had to keep the doors shut on the bedrooms so he wouldnt try to get on ( or worse ) a bed. I also got a thick orthopedic mat then covered it in a tight fitting sheet and comforter for him to sleep on while he healed.
YOu can give your boss my email address if he needs any help/support/ whatever from me.. I will be more than happy to help him in any way I can.
Also - remind him, borzois are drama queens- they will run at something in the yard crashing over tree branches etc never say a word- while triming toenails makes a yelp in a "KI-YI-YI-YI-" noise. They also learn reallllllllllll quick that if they look at you and yelp out of no where, you will be started and give them something in affection or treats.. lol..
Of course I remember that. I'm so glad to hear he's doing well. Hope 6 months comes soon for him.
Very sweet of you. My boss is kind of an expert too. She's had Borzoi's forever, has bred and shown them and can tell you everything you want to know about these russian hound drama queens! Yes, Jax yelps when you even look at trying to cut his nails and won't even yip if he falls or trips over something. Clutzy doggie he is! ThanksQuote:
