Bri, some time you have to go to Omaha, Nebraska's Henry Doorly Zoo. It gets my vote for best US zoo. They have a Kingdoms of the Night exhibit and one exhibit within it has about a doesen coons and a dozen young gators and a few snapping turtles and the coons hold there own in there! It really is a revolutionatry exhibit. Quoted from someone else but true, "A Louisiana swamp with racoons boping alligators on the head."

Funny enough no Boston Terriers in my neighborhood, closest we've got is a Buggle - pug/beagle mix. But I have seen them in Boston! :) and Cambridge, too ...
Thank-You for that web site, Gina!!!
It explains "The Wolverine State" dispute. ;)
I learned this, in the 8th grade, (Michigan History Class) :o
The web site was a refresher course, of course ;)
Hey, I will volunteer the white-tailed deer for Minnesota!!! You drive out in the country and you are bound to see at least 2-3 deer at a time! Besides, it's not like there are a lot of those listed as the state mammal! hahaha:D;)
