Samantha your sewing abilities are indeed admirable. I am impressed with your ability to insert those pins so evenly. :) I hope we get to see the finished product. ;)
Oh miss sam...you do have an eye for decor. Can you tell my boys that shredding the curtains isn't an option?
Sewing has always been too much of an intellectual challenge for me (too much of left-right, top-bottom and upside-down for me ;)) but Samantha can do it purrfectly! I'm full of admiration ;)
Wow, you are a talented tailor, Samantha!
ps. I'd love some new curtains too! When can your meowmie send you over??
Now that's an industrious feline!
Beauty and brains. My, my. :D :D
Love the pics., Killearn Kitties.
Oh Samantha sweetheart, the quality of your seamtress-ness (?!? :p ) is just astonishing. Why, you would put the soft furnishings department of John Mew-is to shame!
PS Tom says the sparkly stuff in the long containers behind you in the third picture looks dead cool :D
We think Samantha is ready for "Project Runway" and look forward to her Spring Home Collection! ;)
Wow Samantha, I never knew what a fabulous seamstress you are my dear.
I am in dire need of new curtains for my kitchen. Any chance on getting your expert help?
Aaaw, Samantha, what a good little kitty you are! Don't we love our little helpers. My sister likes to make clothes and Juni loves to try the fabric, and Pichu likes to help with cutting and sewing. :)
Samantha is such a sweet girl helping you sew the curtians, and I can see she knows excatly what she's doing! :D
Years ago, when we moved in to this flat, I sewed curtains for the bedroom - 13 meters of fabric!! If only I've had Fister to help, I would have done it in half the time, don't you think! ;)
Samantha thanks all her PT aunties and uncles for their kind words about her handiwork. :) She would like to make clear that she used the pink thread for tacking the material, holding it in place along the bottom, while she cut the fabric. (Is that basting? Must be one of those "lost in translation" moments. I would only baste a turkey during cooking. :D )
Samantha would be delighted to fly anywhere to help her aunties with their curtains, or to help with the correction of kittens. Everything she knows she learned from her mother, Jessica of the icy glare and the fast paw! She will bring sparkly ribbons from the Lakeland Gift Accessory pack for all cats!
Here is a picture of the finished product. Sorry it's so dark, it was very bright outside.

A bonnet? Hmm, that could be tricky ...
Samantha I was so excited to see the finished product this morning. You and your meowmie have done an excellent job! ;) Of course those curtains frame your *window on the world.* What cat wouldn't like to spend endless hours gazing out that window. Trevor and Andy are wondering if you ever get the naughty desire to sweep those plants down onto the counter because they have. :o In fact, Trevor says that leafy green one on the left looks just perfect for nibbling! LOL! :D
P.S. Yes, we refer to a wide, loose stitch which holds the material in place as "basting." :)
