Hi Sweetie, I hope you slept well last night. You are my hero. I have so much to learn from you in how to approach and make it through these types of ordeals. Of course you will be in my prayers. I will be thrilled to hear that another hurdle in your recovery is just a past memory. Onward... and don't make the doctor laugh too much. Remember he needs a steady hand. Love you.

Karen, I am just now reading this. Morning thunder storms moving through
the city kept me off of PT till now, Too late to wish you well before surgery,
but please know you will be in my thoughts & prayers that all goes well with
a quick recovery. ((HUGS))
I'm sure by now your surgery is done and over with and I'm hoping all went well.
I'll still be saying a little prayer for quick healing.

hi all... back to one handed, no uppercase typing again :rolleyes:
all 6 pins are out, not just the 2 planned. since i'm as healed as it's going to get right now, no sense in keeping them- good riddance. wrist/hand swollen and discolored but not like 1st time. only pain right now is where there's no bone-ulna on pinky side of hand. no definite future plans on more surgery. depends on my pain level. if constant, then he'll do reconstruction but my movement will be worse than now and permanent. if i do nothing, i'll have no support on that side of my wrist and have to be cautious forever. so it's a wait and see. thanks for your prayers..they worked. although it wasn't major surgery, i was still scared.
i was so brave, john bought me coldstone ice cream.. :D
