She is SUCH a sweety - and you say she just charmed everyone at the vet place when she was getting her heart scans and stuff...so I am surprised she was nawtee at the doctor's office!

I'm newer here, so I'm not sure of protocol, but here's what our vet told us with our Bushes. She was peeing all over the place and had to have Clavamox on a regular basis to keep away the infections.
The high protein levels could be because her kidneys just aren't processing the protein her diet well enough. This can be the very first stages of kidney disease. Don't panic though! :) They have many k/d foods out there that can provide a lower protein level, but still keep your lovely kitty healthy.
Also, have you checked with your vet to try a liquid form of her meds? Bushes got liquid Clavamox and seemed to like that better -a syringe of liquid in her mouth worked better for us. Also, Petsmart here in the states sells a "pill giver" that is a syringe with two fingers on the end, pull water up into the syringe, stick the pill in the fingers and you're good to go. That helped with Bushes toward the end. I didn't get scratched nearly as much. :rolleyes:

You have NO idea how difficult it is to open Snoopy's mouth :eek: . She is so strong.... :rolleyes: ! That pill-shooter is also not working for her, we tried it out, but no use.... . Mixing the crushed pill with her food?? No way, smarty-pants Snoopy refuses to eat it :rolleyes:Quote:

Miss Zazou has been getting all the attention with her disappearing acts and Snoopy wants in on it perhaps?
I really had a problem to think that a kitty that young would have a kidney problem.
Now you'll have to look very detailed in Miss Snoopy's lifestyle: When does she do it, where does she do it, what happened before she did it. Oh my!
I'm very happy Miss Snoopy's blood tests are good.

I'm so glad to hear that Snoopy's test results are fine.:) Hopefully you'll be able to find out why she's peeing outside of the litterbox.
Do you have covered litterboxes? If so she may prefer to use one that's uncovered. I know it sounds weird but my Starr prefers to use uncovered litterboxes because he's claustrophobic and afraid that others will surround him while he's using the litterbox. I learned about this from a pet pyschic. He was pooping outside of the litterbox almost every day. Now he'll occassionally do it but not as often as before.
Have you tried liquid meds mixed in food? All but 1 of my monsters will take stuff that way. As for wicker, I throw it out in the yard and hose and scrub it all the time. It's not much good if you can't get the pee out, so there's nothing lost. I've never had one fall apart yet (but it'll probably happen tomorrow). LOL
