Such good news nsweezie - I'm soooooo pleased Minnow came through her op., with such flying colours!! No wonder the poor furbaby was in distress. Sounds as if you got her to the vet just in time. Hope she comes home tonight so you can give her lots of nose kisses and cuddles. Give her time to sleep off the anesthetic and I bet she's her old self again in no time!! Way to go Minnow!!!

Nothing makes my day more than hearing about one of our furbabies going to be okay from something that could have been very very serious.
Hooray for you Minnow. Rest up you pretty little white kittie and don't scare mommy like that again. lol
By the way Lynnestankard, i just love your fireworks.

Another update-
Minnow is back from the vets, and is a little groggy. She howled the whole way home, and was so glad to get out of her cage.
She is asleep now on the sofa, her favorite place. She looks really tired, maybe she didn;t sleep well last night either.
I've locked up the other cats so they won't bother her. Monty, Zoey, Scooter and Mac are not protesting, but Clyde is letting out the most awful howls.
Minnow has 7 toes on her front paws, and 6 on the back! Polydactylism is really common in Nova Scotia, I'd say 1 in every 3 or 4 cats has it.
Thanks so much everyone for the good wishes, I'm sure the positive thoughts are what is helping Minnow heal as we speak.
This really is the best site on the whole web. :)

I'm so glad Minnow's surgery went well and that she's going to be okay. I visited your website and she's a very beautiful cat. Was she diagnosed with Megacolon? Please give her a hug and kiss for me.:D

Hurray - so glad your back home Minnow (and so's your Mummy!). Lots of cuddles and rest are the order of today. Nose kisses winging across the miles sweet one - xxxxxxx

Minnow is still feeling pretty well today. She is sore of course, but her insicion looks good. Her appetite isn't back yet, and she has lost some weight, but she needed to anyways.
She has megacolon, and is taking lactolouse.
Once again, Minnow and I were both really touched by everyone's well wishes. It made the whole bad experience much easier to deal with.

Glad to hear she's still doing good. Hope her appetite comes back soon because that will help her get her strength back. Poor kitty, such trauma.

Heal well precious Minnow. I know the love of your family is making all the difference! What a BRAVE kitty! Mr. B and Oliver and Sandra send you lots of love and get well wishes sweetie. Oh, you have the dearest name!:) {{{HUGS}}}

I'm glad to here that Minnow is doing so well. Soon she'll get her appetite back and be back to normal. Since my cat Pepper has been on lactulose, he's been fine. He was very sick off and on for several months last year before I knew what his problem was. Thank god you didn't have to go through what I did. Good luck and please keep us updated on Minnow's progress.

Good news. I'm sure that she will be back to her old self in no time now.
