How fast can you type?

I am striving to type this perfect.

I can get into the 70's, but a lot of capitalization is missing, and some mis spelled words.

Whew, this takes practice.

I never do as well under pressure either, because I think too much about it and try too hard. I think my best tested score was 106 wpm, but I type for a living. I think I could do a bit better but again I always fumble under the pressure of a test :p. Of course true typing ability has less to do with actual speed and more to do with accuracy and the ability to keep up a decent speed over time. Typing "fast" gets awfully hard after you've been doing it for four hours straight.

And, of course, the 300 score I posted isn't real.. That particular test has a way to "cheat" on it ;).

160 wpm wow and my typing teacher failed me 20 yrs ago go figure? LOL :eek:

hehe i figured out your trick!!! No wonder I was all you are atyping genius and now i just figured out your secret haha.

69 wpm.

73 wpm, but I'm trying to get higher. I don't type well under pressure either.

In 9th grade I got atleast 90 WPM - I've used computers a lot more since then!

If ya wanna cheat you can atleast get atleast 1080 wpm. ;)

Upper 90s to lower 100s is basically where it stayed. :/

My average speed according to that test is somewhere in the 104-110 range. I type for a living - in the legal profession you have to be able to type like a bat out of hell and not make any mistakes. I've been clocked at a consistent 130 wpm.

Oh wow, I'm pretty pathetic at 48-50 words a minute. And thats not testing the typos. I bet I'd be half that if you included errors. :o

Mine were all between 115 and 120 wpm... :)

Woow...I'm in the 55-60 range, hehe.

:o 46 :o Whats sad though is I have to constantly have to look down at the keyboard to make sure I'm pressing the right key.... :o

36! Not that good, oh well, I type my own words a lot faster.
