Weird habits? My life is a weird habit...as I like to do all my 'things' in order. I have trouble going to bed if the house isn't picked up, I have to make my bed in the morning (Jonah's, too!), no dishes in the sink overnight....Stuff goes in the place that it goes, not where someone else puts it...I am very orderly. He he he...some might call it something else, though. LOL.
When I pump gas, the last number has to be a 0 or a 5. If the pump stops pumping at $32.28, I have to round it up to $32.55 or $33.00, any number is fine so long as the very last digit is a 0 or 5.
My paper money also has to be facing all the same way with the larger denominations in the back.
OK it seems like a lot of us are anal so I will admit to being so also. :) All of the clothes in my closet have to be hanging in the same direction (open or buttoned side to the right). I also sort of line up my sweaters/tops by color. :rolleyes: :o
i love this thread! hehe..Lets see what are my habits? We'll when im nervous i bite my nails, but thats normal. Umm...this is so werid its not even funny! I have to have someone else CUT AN APPLE for me, or else I wont eat it! Don't ask me why! If i cut it, i wont eat it. Wierd Huh? :p :eek:

I have a front door problem aswell, and generally recheck it a couple of times. The back door is fine because the dogs are in the back end of the house so i know no one is going to get in. I also have to recheck everything electrical before going to bed and turn off everything that is not needed.
Clover has to escort me to the toilet late at night for protection... hehe against what i dont know. But you never know who might be hiding behind the doors :o.
I think i will stop now.
It becomes very clear why I feel so at home here!

i have to count when i am turning on the water in the shower just to see how many number i get until the water pressure is the one i need to take a bath........weird
also when i open a soda bottle for some weird reason i have to blow into it.......before i take a zip......LOL now my kid does that too :rolleyes:
and the most weirdest thing i can think of right now is that i use to stretch.................like a dog!!! LOL (no kidding i´ve always done that since a kid, i even walked/eat/sleep like a dog or any other animal..... :D )
Someone else has to pump the gas to 5 or 0, I have to level off the sound on movies to an even number although in general I don't have a "thing" about any particular number. I actually feel uncomfortable if it's at an odd number.
Although I never double check the doors when I leave, I triple check the front door when I go to bed and only then can I lie down in comfort. I never check through the house when I get home or before I go to bed as I did when I had only one cat because I figure one of my social ferals would indicate if there was something "alien" in the house.
In our staff kitchen at work, I put water in the kettle and pour it out before filling it fresh for my own cup of tea because I hate re-boiled water. The people who simply check that there is water in the kettle and then switch it back on, or use the hot water tap to fill the kettle give me the shudders.
I also have my clothes hanging by colour and type, and facing the same way, but I think of that as good organization. If I want a sleeveless black top, for instanceI, know it's at the front of the row of black tops and I don't have to search through a rack of clothes for one.
Oh good! More people who like the toilet roll with the edge facing them. I don't change it in other places but I do swear at the roll as I fumble to find the edge.
Edited to add that I would run a mile from all you cracking people. When people crack their joints, I feel nauseated and go weak at the knees.

1. My bed has to be made every day
2. When I cook, I have to clean up as I go along
3. The kitchen has to be cleaned before I go to bed...however yucky dishes soaking overnight is OK.
4. I must park straight. Even if it takes an extra few minutes, my car has to be centered in the parking stall.
5. When I brush my teeth, I must go from right to left. Left to right doesn't work.
6. I cannot jump into the shower right after getting out of bed. I have to be up for at least an hour before showering otherwise it just doesn't feel right.
7. Just like SP, the gas pump must end in 0 or 5.
8. Just like others, the toilet roll must roll towards me.
I'm sure there are others but that will do for now.
I can not stand when different food touches on my plate. There must be a gap between all food items! My Mom tells me that I have been like that since I started to feed myself! My husband thinks it's the most bizzare thing he's ever seen. He just heaps everything into a big pile on his plate. Makes me nauseaus!
I do head counts on the critters at least twice day, especially the cats. Since Dominique's death, I'm petrified that one of them will get outside without me noticing.
