Have you tried any of the injectable steroids for Lucas? Sometimes those work better than the oral stuff...
Oh, sorry about that, I guess I missed a few installments along the way.Quote:

I am so sorry to hear about Lucas- and it's so sad that they couldn't tell you something right away.
Poor boy!
{{{hugs}}}
YIKES! I can't wait until friday for a retest. it'll kill me. I had Lucas in a seperate room today I am suppose to watch what comes out :eek: ) And by the time I got home he had 3 huge diarrhea poops and a 4th just after I left him out of his room. And no pee pee anywhere, to my knowledge. How can he not be simply drained??? :confused: But no foreign object and I can't feel it to determine if it has moved. SIGH>
Poor baby! Poor you! I'm sending all my positive vibes for Lucas the cutie.
Jen!!! Lots of prayers coming for Lucas!!! The waiting is the worse part!!! Take Care!!! Sandra
Oh poor poor Lucas, i know how he feels, also an IBS sufferer, however can you clarify one thing Jen does he have Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Irritable Bowel Disease, i believe they are different, i remember my sisters kitty being diagnosed with IBD, I really have no advice only empathy for Lucas and you, I have never found anything that cures or really helps IBS, stress is a factor for sure in humans, so could be in kitties too, Aloe vera is supposed to help, but i have not noticed any changes, so maybe it works for some and not others, but i imagine you can try treating it with natural alternatives the same as with humans, it can i believe turn into ulcerative colitis in humans, so might be worth a mention to the vet, i sure hope you can get some relief for kitty. Good Luck.
Jen, I'm so sorry to hear that Lucas is having problems again.:( Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way. I sure hope that whatever the vet finds is treatable and not serious. Please continue to keep us updated about him. (((HUGS)))
Thinking of you and Lucas and hoping for some result that will give you a definite answer. :)Quote:
