Hi Cat's Meowm - Yes, I think most cats hide from the vacuum cleaner - except for our Beauty, who even puts up with my son's trumpet concerts. My family had a schipperke (dog) who used to attack the broom when anyone used it in the kitchen, where his dish was, because of course, it could "gobble up" any stray bits of dry food near his dish! He was only the size of a cat, but he was quite fierce in attitude.
