Phred meant when my son died last summer. He drove 3 hours so he could dogsit during the visitation hours and during the dinner after the funeral for my 5 and Christy's 3. I don't think anyone thought to take pictures. He had never been to my home and he picked up a key from the funeral home and walked into a house with 8 dogs in in it. Fortunately they all had met him at the Findlay Dog Park meetings before hand.
I hesitate to make light of a very sad occasion ...Quote:

It wasn't till later that I learned Dakota can EASILY stand up, grab your shoulders with
her front paws, and deliver a very damp *kiss* all over your face! http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/eek.gif

Well it sure likes like our babies enjoyed their stay with grandma and grandpa!! Thanks for watching them!!!
Ralph and I had a nice trip to Houston, although it went by very fast. We flew out Thursday in time for Ralph to go to the Bachelor party, Friday was the rehearsal, Saturday, the wedding, and Sunday a BBQ at the new couple's home. We flew back early this morning. It was nice to get together with our college roommates again. The silly part is two of our roommates live 130 miles south of us is Middletown, Ohio, yet we went all the way to Houston to spend the weekend with them! Guess the roommate that got married will have to plan more parties so we can all get together!! I'm loading picturesnow, and will add a link in case anyone wants to see (And there are pictures of our friend's poodle!)
Here is a link to the album
Great pictures Amy! Was nice to see all the roomies together again. Just sad not to see your brother a part of it all. I guess I had not added that Rob was suppose to be a groomsman. They kept him part of the program - just letting people know that he was not "here" to be a part of it. Rob roomed with Amy's group of friends the last couple years that they were in college together. The others finished a couple of years ahead of him but they all remained friends.
