My mother got assaulted in a parking lot, and that's exactly what she did. She bit the cr@p out of his hand and drove like a madwoman back home. Mothers...:)Quote:

Thank you for all those tips. While I hope that I am never in such a situation, it can happen to anybody. Those tips are great and I will be sure to pass them on.
Wow. I NEVER follow those safety rules! I know karate, and I'm pretty good too. I also have a very good bite. I read in a magaizine about a rapist tried attacking a girl that was walking home from school, but she was a black belt so she kicked him super hard and ran away. The kick broke the guy's leg so he couldn't follow her.
Wow! I guess I should praise my mom for being paranoid lol. She's always worrying about my sis and I doing a lot of stuff such as myspace. I don't give out personal info on there anyways, I never have. I'm starting to turn into her now with a lot of stuff because it seems my mom has had a lot of experiences with creepy people, and once it might have been Ted Bundy as well(the car was identical to his I think or something). It's terrifying to see and hear what people will do to people.
This happened to my co-worker. She flung the wallet away from herself and ran like h*ll when he went for it. She ran to the neighbors where they called the police. He was captured shortly after and she got back her wallet.Quote:
2. Learned this from a tourist guide in New Orleans. If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you....chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
It works!
