When people ask I usually say hispanic. My mom's side of the family is Spanish and came to the U.S. several hundred years ago and settled into the area where my family still lives in South Texas. As far as I know my dads family is all from Mexico but I'm sure that is a mix of Spanish and those who were native to Mexico. However my skin and features look much more Mexican as I'm dark skinned.
I'm a mutt. lol...Honestly, I ahve no idea what all is in me but here are some I do know of:
Dad's side:
-German
-Hungarian
Mom's side:
-British
-Irish
-Scottish
-German
-Canadian (english)
that's all I know at the moment, I'll have to ask my mom later what else.
Father's side is Scottish and Irish.
Mother's side is English and Penn. Dutch.
my moms side is Romanian.
my dads side is Icelantic, the vikings.
:)
My great great grandpa was a duke of Denmark just before WW2 broke out. He fled to Canada because the Germans were going to kill him. The part of Denmark he ruled is now a part of Germany.
So I'm Irish (my Mom was born there), Ukranian, German/Danish, and Canadian. :)
I am all dutch.
Mom's side, all Ukranian...
Dad's side... Italian, spanish and south american native (maybe something else...)
So... I'm a total mutt and you could never tell what my background is if you saw me... :p
I am 100 per cent purebred Scottish. :)
Brody's Mom - still laughing about your big toe comment!
I'm Dutch surname, but my dad was adopted so who really knows. My mom was Irish - both of her folks went to New York as children. Have been told also Cherokee, but like I said - my dad was adopted so he may have just said that.
I'm Irish-Dutch descent, maybe. American and proud of it - no matter how one slices the pie.
What do you mean? Are you from the Netherlands or Belgium then??Quote:

Mum's side - English & Welsh.
Dad's side - no idea, not even who he was. :)
So I am a true mutt and could be a mixture of any nationality.
For some reason, as I was conceived just after the war ended, I have always hoped my dad was one of the Americans who were stationed over here at that time... silly, huh. :D
Wow, everyone is more mixed than i thought! I'm a mix of Welsh from my grandad. My mum is from Nottingham and my Dad is from Oxford. But me, i feel 100% Lancastrian:D !
