LOL. So all I have to do is ask for Linda, right? Or is there an option for her on the phone?Quote:

PS... your clock arrives tomorrow!! I tracked it on UPS. :D
Didn't hear any option at all for Linda. I pushed "0" (zero) for the operator which is for appointments, and said I wanted to speak to Linda in Pet Angel and she can page her if she doesn't answer. Marilyn gives the prices for things.Quote:

And W00T! I'll make you a voice clip with my regards :p
A few weeks back, I was told that Linda was in Accounting, and to press that option on the voice mail. But, there wasn't one. So I pressed Reception, and asked to be put thru to Linda.
They did seem really nice.
Jenn - you mentioned a local low-cost spay neuter to me earlier, right in town. Now that I am HOME (YAY!) with a REAL computer, I will check the link and make a VERY preliminary inquiry as to whether they can take donations and still charge low-cost. If so, a donated buck might go a little further.
This started with trying to find out if the Banfield Pet Hospitals at PetSmart would accept donations for their wellness plans, which are paid monthly and seem reasonable, at least on the surface. However, the vet at the Banfield in Bri's town also has his own practice - and the donation fund is there. Hence - a chance to contribute, but no discount for anyone! :)
So I will look the low-cost one up.
ETA: I found the link, and have downloaded it and the application form. I am waiting to send it to Bri to see what she thinks! And - I'm glad to see a few like-minded people who focus on the animals. :)
I agree with Michelle, well with what she posted on the last page.
However, Bri you may kill me for this, but to speed things up and help getting money, why don't you sell some of your pirate stuff? I know you love it more than anything (of course, not as much as your pets or family) but I think you could get a lot of money off of that and you can help with the fund quite a bit. I'm so sorry Bri, but that's what I'm thinking. I know its what I would do to get money if my animal needed to get spayed. But, since she isn't in a life or death situation, you can do it only as a last resort.
*blinks*
But anyways, Suki Wingy and I set up a cafe press shop, and we're going to use the money from that for my pets. So, when it's set up I'll post a link.
dogzr#1 has a good suggestion. :)
You have time and energy to set up a cafe press shop but can't find a phone to call to arrange vet time? What excuse will yet another "tomorrow" bring :( oh sigh, I'm so sorry to keep getting sucked in but it's so absurd it's almost addicting to this trauma/drama soap opera
are you kidding?Quote:

Well to be fair, noone HAS to donate , if they do so they do so out of their goodness of their heart. The lady that wanted to do the work at her clinic was more then generous but realistically if she could do that, she would have the funds to just get it done herself where she is. So, I think to question her motives is a little unfair. Also, I would not want to send my pet away from me out of state to have it done either, out of county maybe, out of state , no.
Bri - what will you and Suki Wingy be selling? That sounds interesting. Is it some of your POTC stuff, and other things? I know that might sound awful - but if it is worth a fair bit, then you wouldn't have to sell all of it, maybe just a few pieces.
And if you don't mind me posting...Bri has an application form for the low cost spay and neuter in her city. Thing is, it's doubtful they would accept a form from someone her age. Bri - do you think your mom would sign it?
I've emailed the S&N clinic anyway. Their prices are good, and they take PayPal for adoptions.
I've been away - so just want to confirm if there are enough funds for Gizzy, and if her appointment has been made. If Giz can be taken care of, then the rest is not so overwhelming.
I commend Bri for trying to do something to make some of the money.
I've confirmed with Linda the last two times that I called that there is only $60.00 so far. ONE check. That is yours. The others must be in transit, but I don't count money before it's actually received.Quote:

I'm calling tomorrow to get more information from Robinson's, and I don't know if my mom will sign the form or not.
Have you never forged your mom's siggy?! LOL!
I was queen of that one in high school. Academic failure notices? If i couldn't do it good enough we paid the one girl at roller skating to do it for us for $2.00
To me, you do what you gotta do to get it done. If mom doesn't ask what was required, then just sign the form for her and let it go at that. Not the best way to go, but if it came to that, I'd do it so it could get done.
