Mark and I finally went to see 8 Below last night, goodness did I ever cry...many, many times:o Geesh, why didn't I remember to bring tissues?!
It was a little long but overall very enjoyable. I'd recommend it to any one who loves dogs.

My daughter and a group of friends went and saw Date Movie in the weekend, they loved it, it does look funny, might hire it out when it comes out on vid. :)
Saw Wedding Crashers on Saturday...thought it was pretty good. I saw "Boogeyman" (the one with Barry Watson) on Friday and it SUCKED.
Went to see Eight Below today. Actually, I wouldn't recommend it because it was so sad. I was crying like a baby and everybody in the theater was crying too. I can still remember seeing Benji when I was a kid and remember his girlfriend (Tiffany) getting kicked. I was mortified and sad and remember that feeling to this day. All I kept thinking about were the poor kids who were watching Eight Below and how sad and mortified they must be when something sad happens in this movie.
But I must say those dogs were beautiful and they were very well trained.
We watched House of Wax last night. Not too good.
My friend introduced me to his favorite movie, Bubba Ho-Tep. It's weird, but, I absolutely loved it. Very campy, but, stylishly filmed and cleverly written. I thought the performances were great, and, the music was beautiful. I don't recommend to most people, though, as it's not a mainstream kinda flick. But, if you like weird, independent type films, it's got some good qualities...it's funny, but, has some touching moments. And, it's basically sortof like an old B horror film. Anyway, I watched it the other night, and, loved it. :)
I saw Shaggy Dog a few nights ago. It wasn't that great. Better than I expected but not worth the $10.95 the theatre charges.. but thankfully, I get movies for free. :p
I wanna see Failure to Launch soon. It looks pretty funny.
I watched Elizabethtown (It was filmed right here in Kentucky!! And some of the stuff in the movie is places we've been/Seen!!) and it was okay. It was a little weird, but cute in a way...:p Then I watched Yours, Mine, and Ours. And I loved it:)
Watched WEDDING DATE in the weekend, it was ok, nothing fantastic, but i did enjoy it all the same, and i hate to admit it but i fell asleep during deuce bigalow the newest one, i enjoyed the first one, but this one just did not keep me entertained obviously.lol :D
Watched Transporter 2 pretty good, but a little unbelievable.... and tried to watch pride and Prejudice turned it off was too tired and accents were too thick will try again when I'm not so tired...
We watched "Catch me if you can" yesterday! We LOVED it!!!!
I liked that movie, too...I have only seen it once, I don't remember a lot of details...I need to see it again.Quote:

I finally saw Brokeback Mountain after "conning" 2 friends into seeing it with me. I personally found it depressing and it realy hit a raw note with me :(. I will definitely see it again though and probably buy it on DVD when released, the scenery was gorgeous and both actors did a great job.
Walk the Line - awesome movie! I have a whole new respect for June Carter Cash
Well i watched GIGLI last night on the telly, because i do enjoy Jloe and also i had heard so many bad things about it and it was awarded so many Razzies, well i must say it did deserve them, but it had some good parts in it and i liked seeing the chemistry between Jen and Ben knowing at that stage they were a couple or on the brink of becoming a couple, that part was nice, but all in all not a very tasteful or great movie thats for sure, but i have seen worse.
I watched that last night. It was very good. I can see why Reese Witherspoon won an Oscar.Quote:

I watched The Ring last night with a few friends. xP Friends loved it, I thought it was okay.
Has anyone seen DERAILED , i am thinking of going to the movies to see it, and am very picky about which movies i spend money on, would appreciate any feed back thanks.

Last night we rented the DVD of Crash. Before it won best picture from the Academy Awards, we had not heard of it....but I think it was just TERRIFIC!
It was my kind of movie in that it made a statement, was very involved with many stories within the story - and it wrapped up in very complete way, explaining everything from the whole movie. It was the sort of movie that left me thinking far into the night. The way it was filmed was artistically interesting also - a sort of dreamy quality and the music was wonderful.
I would love to hear what other folks think, too.
I thought Crash was an amazing movie. Honestly, I think its one of the best movies I have ever seen. Like you, it left me thinking for quite awhile. The actors all did a wonderful job playing their parts. I think I might buy that movie. Its worth watching more than once.
Crash was one of the best movies I've seen in YEARS!!!
I'll watch it again & again.
Today we are snowed in  and watched History of Violence. It was pretty predictable but kept our interest anyway.
Yup, am trying to see some of the movies that won or were nominated for - Oscars.
I watched "Walk The Line" last night and honestly I got a bit bored with it. I did think that Reece Witherspoon did an awesome job and was worthy of the Oscar. I also watched "North Country" and wasn't real impressed with it either. Reece certainly deserved the Oscar over Charlize Theron.
I also watched Walk the Line.I loved it!It was long, but I think they done a terrific job.
Has anyone seen this movie...Waiting
Being a server I just HAD to see it! Yes, kinda gross and disgusting but funny none the less!
If you have a fondness for movies that are a little out of the ordinary this is a great one to see!
And remember everyone .....
Don't mess with the people who serve your food;):p
V for Vendetta. I loved it. It was gorgeously filmed, well acted, the dialogue was really fun and thought provoking at the same time. Hugo Weaving did an outstanding job as the alliteration-loving V. And, Natalie Portman just knocks my socks off. She's amazing. I saw it and will see it again in the theaters and will buy it the day it comes out on DVD.
I watched O Brother, Where Art Thou with George Clooney. It really
was a pretty good story.Loved the Country/Bluegrass music in it. :)
I love that movie, although I've never been able to make it through the book it's based on. One day, though! ;) The soundtrack is awesome, I got it before I even saw the film.Quote:

I watched flight plan on video was quite good,at least i managed to actually sit there and watch it from start to finish, without being totally bored. :)
I saw another movie today... lol. I saw She's The Man. Surprisingly enough, it was actually pretty good.
I went to see The Hills Have Eyes today. It wasn't scary, but it was really gory. I liked it alot. Geez, and I thought Hostel was gory
I'm watching Howl's Moving Castle for the second time. I love it! Anyone else seen it?
Has anyone seen DERAILED, I asked before but if you have would love your review on it thanks. :)

I saw Narnia last night (finally). Such a great movie - I can't wait to watch it again! My husband loved it too, and he even understood all of the religious connotations :D LOL I was so proud ;)
